  1. The melting point of water is 0 degrees Celcius at standard pressure, which I believe is 1 Atmosphere. A (significant) change in air pressure will change the melting point of water. Or you can sprinkle it with salt. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_(molecule)
